Founded in 1920 by Scottish immigrant John A. Templeton and located in Terre Haute, Indiana, Templeton Coal Company is a diversified business with mining interests in nearby Sullivan, Greene and Knox counties. The company also has three subsidiary companies: Glas-Col, Terre Haute, Indiana; Dicksons, Seymour, Indiana; and Plumb Supply Company, Des Moines, Iowa. You can read about each of our subsidiaries.
